Multi-family Rental New Construction of Affordable Housing
Broward County Housing Finance and Community Redevelopment Division announces the availability of funds and is requesting proposals for projects to be funded with Broward County's GAP Financing. Up to $5,000,000 is available to be allocated to at least one (1) affordable multifamily new construction project. These funds require the use of non-County revenue sources. Projects that have received tax-exempt bonds, or an award of 1) tax credit and/or SAIL financing through Florida Housing Finance Corporation, Broward County Land Contribution, and/or 2) Broward County Gap Financing within the last three (3) years are NOT eligible to apply for funding for the same project.
The RFP will be available on Monday, July 13, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Broward County's Housing Finance and Community Redevelopment Division, 110 NE 3rd Street, 3rd Floor, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33301 or can be downloaded by clicking here. The deadline to submit proposals is Friday, August 7, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. All proposals received after 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2020 will not be accepted and will be returned to the applicant.

Implementation of Minor Home Repair and/or Special Needs/Barrier Free Strategies
The Broward County Housing Finance and Community Redevelopment Division announces the availability of funds and is requesting applications/proposals from agencies to be the project management agency to oversee the Home Repair Strategy [mitigation hardening to qualified owner-occupied homes] and/or the Special Needs/Barrier Free Strategy [rehabilitation/removal of architectural barriers to owner occupied homes with disabled household members or housing to persons with special needs as defined by Florida Statutes 420.0004 (13) or 393.063 (9)].
All funding applications must be received at the Housing Finance and Community Development Division, located at 110 NE 3rd Street, 3rd Floor, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301 during the application process. The deadline to submit is 12:00 PM, NOON, EST on Friday, February 28, 2020. All applications received after 12:00 PM, NOON, will not be accepted and will be returned to the applicant.
