Substantial Changes

​​​​Substantial Changes to the Fiscal Year (FY) 2020-2024 HUD Consolidated Plan and 2020/2021 Annual Action Plan (AAP) and COVID-19 (CARES Act)​

Broward County Housing Finance and Community Redevelopment Division (HFCRD) hereby announces that it will be submitting a Substantial Change Amendment Request to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requesting substantial changes to the FY 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan (CP) and the FY 2020/2021 Annual Action Plan (AAP). The County will be receiving $2,395,015 in Community Development Block Grant - Coronavirus third tranche (CDBG-CV3) funding and $3,048,655 in Emergency Solutions Grant - Coronavirus second tranche (ESG-CV2) funding under CARES Act funding allocation. The CDBG-CV3 funding will be used for Rental Assistance and ESG-CV2 funding will be used for Homeless Prevention.

Substantial Change April - May 2021​​

Public Notice for Broward County Housing Finance  & Community Redevelopment Division (HFCRD)​April 24, 2021 ending May 10, 2021. Federal regulations governing the Broward County FY 2015-2020 Consolidated Plan and corresponding Annual Action Plans requires that citizens be provided with reasonable notice of the opportunity to comment on any substantial amendment to this plan as per CFR Part 91.505​​​
