County Attorney 

Andrew Meyers was appointed the County Attorney in 2017.  Mr. Meyers joined the Broward County Attorney’s Office, where he initially served as the County's Chief Appellate Counsel and later as Chief Deputy County Attorney, in 1999. While working for the County, he has worked on many interesting and complex trial-level, appellate, and transactional matters including the 2000 presidential election recount. He also serves as Special Counsel to the State of Florida, assigned to the Department of Labor, and EmploymentSecurity and has served as general counsel to the Florida Coordinating Council for the (then-newly enacted) Americans with Disabilities Act.
