10 Days of Connection

May 1st through May 10th 
Stirling Road Branch Library

The series consists of 14 free programs designed to encourage meaningful connections between people of different backgrounds, experiences and cultures will take place. Through shared activities, people of all ages will interact to find the common thread that unites all of us: Social interaction.

  • Wednesday, May 1st: Ageless Grace: Fitness for Brain & Body, adults/teens, 2-3PM; Art Lecture with Dr. Batia Cohen: Tomas Saraceno & the Art of the Social Spider, adults, 6:30-7:30PM
  • Thursday, May 2nd: Swapping Stories: Adult Storytelling, 6:30-7:30PM        
  • Friday, May 3rd: Children's Bilingual Story Time (Spanish/English), 11-11:30AM; Art Class with Sandi Levy, adults, 1-3PM
  • Sunday, May 5th: Amazonia Vocal Ensemble: Love Songs from Latin America, all ages, 5-6PM
  • Monday, May 6th: Film Screening: Green Book, adults/teens,1-3:30PM
  • Tuesday, May 7th: Sing-Along with Library Manager Bill Fritz, all ages, 5-6PM; Multicultural Bingo, all ages, 6-7PM
  • Wednesday, May 8th: Ageless Grace: Fitness for Brain & Body, adults/teens, 2-3PM; Adult Coloring with Wine & Music, 7-7:45PM
  • Thursday, May 9th: Famous Composers, with Walter Ladden, adults, 1:30-3PM;  Adult Story Hour, 7-8PM
  • Friday, May 10th: Children's Bilingual Story Time (Spanish/English) 11-11:30AM
