Share Your Story

Local veterans and civilians who served with the United States military are invited to be interviewed by library staff and have their stories recorded on video, free of charge, for the Broward County Historical Archives at Main Libr​​ary​. Each recorded interview will also become a permanent part the Library of Congress' American Folklife Center; the interview will be cataloged and made available to researchers and the public.

Share Your Memorabilia

Share documents, journals, photographs, diaries, maps, or a written narrative of your military experiences. Family members are welcome to create a collection with, and for, the veteran in their life in several formats, including audio, video, unpublished memoirs, journals or diaries, original photographs, letters or two-dimensional art.​​​
