Veterans Connect Hotspot Program

Free Mobile Internet Service for Veterans, Active Military and their dependents! Veterans, active military members and their dependents can check out free WiFi hotspots at nine library locations throughout Broward County with valid military identification. The free hotspots provide unlimited access to T-Mobile's 4G LTE network and increase access to information and technology. The hotspots will be loaned for one month with the option to renew the loan three more times. For more information, please call 954-357-7444.

To borrow a Hotspot, present:

  • Your Broward County Library card
  • Your valid Military ID (Veterans Identification Card (VIC), Active Duty ID card, Guard/Reserve Military ID Card, Retiree Military ID Card, Military Dependent ID Card) or a Driver's License with a "V" designation.

To return the Hotspot:

  • Return the hotspot with all of its accessories (case, adaptor cable, manual) in-person to a staff member at the Circulation Desk of the library from which it was borrowed.  *Please do not return it to the book drop.
  • Return the hotspot by the due date to avoid any overdue charges.

The goal of the Veterans Connect Hotspot Program is to assist veterans in transitioning to civilian life by encouraging education, self development and career advancement through technology.
