2025 FALL FESTIVALS
Fall Festival
Tradewinds Park & Stables, Coconut Creek
Saturday, October 18; 11AM to 3PM
Fee: Fees vary by activity. The park's regular weekend/holiday gate entrance fee of $3/vehicle with 8 or fewer passengers will be in effect.
Sponsored by the Tradewinds Farm Hands, this family fun event includes a pumpkin patch, obstacle course, food trucks (separate fees), bounce houses, carnival games with prizes, animal interactions, horse pictures, and model steam train rides (with a separate $2/person ticket).
"Hallo-Green" Fall Event
Anne Kolb Nature Center, Hollywood
Saturday, October 25; Noon to 3PM
Fee: $2/person suggested donation to the Friends of Anne Kolb Nature Center
Celebrate the fall season with an afternoon of environmentally friendly activities, games, arts & crafts, music, and more. Wear a fun costume if you like. It's a party!

Sorta-Scary Night at Saw Palmetto

Celebrate the season with a night of tricks, treats, and costumes! Join a parks naturalist for a fun-filled night of science experiments, prizes, and a sorta-scary trail. Saw Palmetto Natural Area is the perfect spot for a Halloween adventure.
Nature Crafts for Families: Fall and Halloween Crafts

$5/person
Drop by the Discovery Room to make a variety of crafts projects from natural and recycled materials.
Funtober: Haunts and Things

Fee: $5/person for ages 10 and under with an adult. Registration with park office is required (954-357-5198).
A Halloween-themed program that includes a spider lesson and craft. Each child will take home a book and their own hand-made creepy crawler. Meet in the amphitheater.

Join neighborhood parks for a fun night off trunks and treats! Children will go from car to car, where local businesses will offer tricks and treats!

Night Hike: Things That Go Bump in the NightLong Key Natural Area and Nature Center

Fee: $5/person for ages 10 and under with an adult.
Join a naturalist to explore the nature trails of Long Key and learn about the various nocturnal animals that call Long Key home. Listen to stories, myths, and legends about these animals.
