The Broward County Board of County Commissioners approved three weekend or holiday gate entrance fees could be waived​. All regional parks that charge a gate entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone (excludes parking fee at Hollywood North Beach Park and the A1A pocket parks in Hollywood). We encourage you visit a new park or return to one of your favorite spots.​ Save the dates below for these entrance fee-free days.

• ​Sunday, February 15, 2026: Broward County Parks Anniversary and the Parks Foundation of Broward County ParkFest 
  
• Saturday, July 4, 2026​​: Celebrate the Passage of the Declaration of Independence
  

• Sunday, November 8, 2026:  In honor of our National Veterans and Military Family Members Month
  

The entrance fee waiver does not cover amenity or user fees for activities such as cooling off in a water park, camping, boat or shelter rentals, or special events. Our nature centers, natural areas, and neighborhood parks do not have entrance fees at all.
