​​​​It's the most wonderful time of the year, especially for your pampered pooch! Take advantage of the end of the aquatics season when we open Splash Adventure at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach ​and Castaway Island at T.Y. (Topeekeegee Yugnee) Park in Hollywood for splash time for your dogs.  The parks' regular weekend and holiday gate entrance fee of $3/vehicle (8 or less​ passengers) or $20/vehicle (9 or more passengers) will be in effect.​​

BarktoberFest

The annual BarktoberFest will be held at Quiet Waters Park on Saturday, October 7 and Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 9AM to 4PM. The day includes K9 Splash Adventure from 9AM to 3:30PM.​ The cost is $6/dog per 50-minute session or $5/dog for current dog park pass holders.​​ 

In addition to doggie splash time, you can visit with rescue and nonprofit groups, consider adopting a pet, and pick up the perfect present for your pooch at the Doggie Market Place. 

K9 Water Festivals

The K9 Water Festivals returns to T.Y. Park's Castaway Island​​ on weekends October 14 & 15 and 21 & 22, 2023, from 9AM to 5PM. The fee is $5/dog (+ sales tax) per 50-minute splash session. There will be a designated small-dog area (25 pounds and under) for all sessions. 

There are some rules we need to follow at the events: 

  • ​All dogs must be off leash when inside the playgrounds
  • Dogs must be sociable and well behaved
  • Dogs must have proof of current rabies vaccination and a County licensee tag
  • Water playgrounds will be closed to humans and open only for dogs (and lifeguards)
  • All dogs are limited to two sessions per day
  • Sessions will begin on the hour
