The Parks Foundation of Broward County invites you to join us at the Annual ParkFest Love & Music Day on Sunday, February 15, from 1 to 5PM at Plantation Heritage Park. The free concert's (parking is $5/vehicle) headline act is the 100-member Florida Youth Orchestra (FYO) and Grammy-winning jazz flutist Nestor Torres. The opening act is the FYO Chamber Strings, which is an ensemble within the orchestra for intermediate to advanced young string players (violin, viola, cello, and bass). David Orson will be the celebrity emcee. Members of the Gold Coast British Sports Car Club will host it's 31st Annual All British Car Show from 1 to 5PM with more than 50 classic British cars on display with the featured marque will be Rolls-Royce and Bentley. An awards presentation starts at 4PM.
A variety of food trucks, beer and wine vendors will be there. The FYO Instrument Play Pen, train rides, corn hole, giant jenga, giant chess, connect-a-shot, and other family activities and bounce houses will also be available.
Bring lawn chairs and/or blankets so you can relax on the park's lush green space. No seating is provided. No outside food, beverages, or coolers are permitted, and please leave your pets at home. A limit of one backpack or purse will be in effect. Event capacity is limited. ParkFest is a rain-or-shine event.
