​​​​​​Communication Boards are a meaningful addition to our park system. Designed with pictures, symbols, words, and graphics, they support individuals who are non-verbal or have limited speech in expressing their needs, choices, and emotions. Thirty-one boards have been installed across our park system by playgrounds, splash pads, and in the three water parks. The Parks Foundation of Broward County funded the materials for the project​​.
