Reinforcement and maintenance to meet operating standards

Studies in 9 corridors countywide to deliver projects efficiently, minimizing disruptions and maximizing value to residents
|Fiber Optics Network|
Installation of fiber optic network to support deployment of traffic technology that requires high-speed data and large volume of traffic data.
Facilities supporting walkers, joggers, bicyclists, in-line skaters, and others, through wide concrete sidewalks, multiuse paths, ADA upgrades, and amenities for non-motorized travel
Installation of controlled crossings to improve safety, reconfiguration of ramps and turning lanes, etc
Installation of street lighting on county roads to provide additional safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists.
Replacement of aging roadway drainage structures to mitigate flooding, and conversion of wire-mounted traffic lights to mast arm (pole and arm) support to withstand severe weather events.
Installation of safety features in school zones, including flashing signs, pavement markings, replacement of outdated equipment, and other safety improvements as needed.
