Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how the app "Broward Emergency Ready" (the "App") accesses, collects, uses, and shares certain user data.

What Data the App Collects

The App does not collect any personal data from its users. The App does not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, photos, or any other personally identifiable information. The App does not collect crash data or interaction data. Collected Data does not include any personal information as provided under Section 501.171, Florida Statutes.

How the App Discloses, Handles, and Secures Collected Data

Because the App does not collect any personal data, there is no Collected Data to disclose, handle, or secure. Broward County is subject to Florida public records law, and therefore is required to produce public records if requested to do so under Chapter 119, Florida Statutes. Absent an applicable statutory exemption, any data or information collected by or relating to the App would be required to be produced to the requestor.

Push Notifications

If you grant permission, the App will send push notifications to alert you of changes to the Broward County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) activation level. You may disable push notifications at any time through your device settings. No personal data is collected or stored in connection with push notifications.
