Rider Alerts and Service Changes


Service Changes

Due to COVID-19, BCT is operating a modified schedule daily, Monday through Saturday.​

Sunday schedules remain the same. 

US 1 Breeze (Route 101), University Breeze (Route 102) and Broward Breeze (Route 122) limited stop service has been suspended temporarily.

Express buses now operate on 30-minute schedules. 

Due to low ridership, BCT has suspended service on 75 Express Route 115 until further notice.

Community Shuttles 
Due to COVID-19, several Broward County municipalities have modified or suspended their Community Shuttle service.


Facial Coverings and Social Distancing Guidelines

Facial Coverings
Passengers are required to wear a cloth face covering. Riders without a face covering will not be allowed on the bus. BSO deputies will periodically check BCT buses to ensure that passengers are wearing face coverings.

Social Distancing Guidelines
Riders are asked to travel only when essential and practice social distancing to protect yourself, other passengers and our bus operators.

Fares have been suspended.

BCT customers will enter and exit the bus using the rear doors only, except customers who require the use of the wheelchair ramp, which remains available at the front door.

Rider Alert: Express Routes 109, 110 Miami
Effective: Tuesday, February 23, 2021
Until Further Notice

NE 1st Avenue Closure

Due to construction, customers who pick up the bus on NE 1st Street at Miami Avenue, and at NE 1st Avenue will now be picked up at the Stephen P. Clark Government Center at 111 NW 1st Street.  

The following detour is in effect:

  • ROUTE 109, 110 NORTHBOUND: From Flagler St. at SE 1st Avenue, buses will continue north on NE 1st Avenue, west on NE 3rd Street, south on NW 1st Avenue, west on NW 1st Street and continue on the regular route.

Rider Alert: Route 40, Lauderhill

Effective: Tuesday, November 24, 2020
Until Further Notice

NW 38th Avenue Closure

NW 38th Avenue in Lauderhill, between NW 16th Street and NW 19th Street, will be closed to all traffic for street and sidewalk improvements.

The following detour is in effect:

  • ROUTE 40 EASTBOUND: From northbound on US 441, buses will continue north to NW 19th Street; east on NW 19th Street and continue on the regular route.
  • ROUTE 40 WESTBOUND: Eastbound detour will be reversed.
Rider Alert: West Regional Terminal Construction
Effective: Until Further Notice
Due to construction at the West Regional Terminal, bus stops for Routes 30, 81, 88 and the Davie Community Shuttle have been relocated to Courthouse Road on the south side of the terminal.

Rider Alert: Routes 18 and 441 Breeze - Temporary Bus Platform at Golden Glades beginning March 1, 2019. The relocation is scheduled through April 2021.
