Trial Court Administrator

The Office of the Trial Court Administrator is concerned with all aspects of court management involving the 90 judges of the Circuit and County courts. It directs several administrative support offices including:

  • Budget and Fiscal Management
  • Personnel Management
  • Purchasing
  • Research and Statistical Analysis
  • Space and Facilities Management
  • Video Operations

It is also responsible for the operation and supervision of the following Court programs:

  • Court Interpreters Program
  • Court Mediation and Arbitration Programs (CMAP)
  • Small Claims and County Court Mediation
  • Family Mediation
  • Dependency Mediation
  • Circuit Civil Mediation
  • Court Arbitration
  • Broward Community Justice Alternatives
  • Teen Court
  • Case Management Services Unit
  • Court Reporting Services

This office is not an agency of the Broward County Commission, however the County Commission owns and maintains the facilities it operates in, and funds some operations of the Courts, State Attorney’s Office and Public Defender’s Office.​​​​​​​​
