Pioneer Day 2026Broward County Historic Preservation Board with the support of Broward’s Cultural Division is delighted to have the Deerfield Beach Historical Society and the City of Deerfield Beach as honored hosts for Pioneer Day 2026.
Each year, Pioneer Day recognizes outstanding residents who have made unique contributions within their communities. The event also includes five topical awards to honor those who have advanced, promoted or increased the general knowledge of the history and preservation of our area.
Pioneer Day is the one day that we come together as various communities to honor and recognize our living treasures and their accomplishments.
Pioneer Day will be held on Saturday, November 7th, 2026, 12 noon to 2 pm at the Johnny L. Tigner Community Center located at the Oveta McKeithen Recreational Complex (445 S.W. 2nd Street, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441).
