Records, Taxes, and Treasury
The Records, Taxes, and Treasury Division (RTT) is the statutory repository for the Official Records of the County. RTT is responsible for collecting tourist development taxes and recording documents into the County's official Land Records and do tax deed auctions. The Division ensures compliance with Florida law regarding the preparation, accessibility, retention, and disposal of public records.
Additionally, RTT performs Clerk to the Board functions, including maintaining official minutes and agendas of County Commission meetings, and serving as the depository for county ordinances, resolutions, and the administrative code.
RTT also provides administrative support to the Value Adjustment Board, the body responsible for settling disagreements between taxpayers and the Property Appraiser regarding property exemptions, classifications, and valuations.
