The Office of Public Communications (OPC) provides County service information to residents, businesses, visitors and media through:
- County programs and news outlets
- Media relations and public information during activations of the Emergency Operations Center
- Managing the County web and social media sites
- Media services to cablecast and webcast government meeting and video programming

The Call Center is a multi-lingual, one-stop shop for information on Broward County government services. Customer service representatives assist callers with information on any County service to ensure easy access to County government. If you are experiencing homelessness, please call 954-563-4357 to initiate assessment for homeless services. The Homeless Helpline is available Monday - Friday from 8AM to 6PM, and 8AM to 12 noon Saturday and Sunday.
