On September 4, 2020, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed a new law impacting Florida's commercial service airports. The law created Section 332.0075, Florida Statutes, and went into effect on October 1, 2020. Broward County's Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is a commercial service airport and is subject to the law. The law contains training and reporting obligations and requires that specified information about the airport's operation be posted on the County's website. The Broward County Aviation Department (BCAD) manages FLL and has created this section within the airport's website to provide the required information.
