The Natural Resources Division provides new grant opportunities to eligible applicants (i.e., civic associations, coastal property owners, municipalities, and non-profit organizations) to conduct dune restoration and enhancement projects. Successful applicants may be reimbursed up to $10,000 per grant for qualifying project expenses and must contribute at least 50% of the total grant amount ($5,000 in in-kind services or cash) as part of the program's cost share aspect.
New funding opportunities for this program are available on an annual basis and are now intended to support a total of $50,000 in grants every year.
