This month, Broward County is encouraging all employers to join the Show Your Love for Broward Census Workforce Campaign. All working employees can spend 15 minutes filling out the census at https://my2020census.gov/ or by calling 1-844-330-2020. If an employee has already filled out the 2020 census, they can spend 15 minutes telling others about the importance of completing the form.
Because census data will be used over the next 10 years to make decisions about federal and state funding for local programs that our residents need, an undercount can have devastating consequences for our community, especially in important areas like social services, transportation, hospitals, nursing homes, education, and emergency preparedness.
