The Urban Planning Division administers the vacation process for platted easements, travelways and portions of plats that were dedicated on a plat approved by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners, dedicated to Broward County, or service or affect a County right-of-way or other County interest require a formal application.

| This application is applicable for new plats, replats, plat note amendments, vacation and abandonments, tri-party agreements, and processing lien release and standard agreements.

Vacation Checklist
| A general submittal requirement checklist for vacations by plat, abandonments of Right-of-way and/or releases of private or public easements.

Vacation Continuation Form
| This form should be used if the property being vacated includes more than one (1) owner. A Vacation Submission Continuation Form must be submitted with the Platting and Development Application.

Notary Continuation Form
| This form should be used if the vacation petition has listed an agent to represent the owner or if the owner is a business or government entity. This must be submitted with the Platting and Development Application.
