Proposed Recommendation of Ranking
On April 14, 2025, the Evaluation Committee (EC) met to score eleven (11) applications for the New Construction or Acquisition and/or Rehabilitation of Multi-Family Affordable Housing Rental or Homeownership Units For Sale Request For Applications (RFAs) for the FY 2025 Funding Cycle. The EC recommendations will be available for five (5) business days starting April 15, 2025, until Monday, April 21, 2025. Following this five-day period, if no objections to the proposed ranking have been received via email in writing to the Director of Housing Finance Division (HFD) by 4:00 p.m., a Final Recommendation of Ranking will be presented to the Board of County Commissioners for approval. All appeals must be in writing and addressed to the Director of HFD at the same email address as required by the RFAs. All appeals must be based on the evaluation scoring criteria and the applicant must define the basis for the appeal. The Director will evaluate all appeals and provide a written response within two (2) business days of receiving the appeals letter via email. The Director will not substitute his judgement for that of the EC. The Director will limit his review to the points raised by any applicant in their written appeal. The Director's decision is final and will be reported to the EC.

The Broward County Housing Finance Division (HFD) is accepting Request for Applications (RFA) for Consulting Services to Prepare/Write a Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Action Plan. The deadline to submit applications is Friday, March 14, 2025, at 12:00 P.M (EST). All applications received after 12:00 P.M. will not be accepted and will be returned to the applicant. Request for Applications for the Five (5) Year Consolidated Plan Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice

The Broward County Housing Finance Division (HFD) is seeking proposals from non-profits and for-profits to provide direct services to prepare portions of the Consolidated Plan and an Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice. A Request for Applications (RFA) package may be obtained online at www.broward.org/housing or in person at 110 NE 3rd Street, 3rd Floor, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301, between weekday hours of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
A Pre-Bid Workshop will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM at 110 NE 3rd Street, 2nd Floor, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. Attendance is strongly encouraged but is not mandatory.
Questions regarding the RFA must be addressed via email only to ylopez@broward.org or phaggerty@broward.org. All questions and answers will be posted on the HFD website until 5:00 PM Monday, January 6, 2025.
Proposals are to be submitted no later than Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 12:00 PM NOON, at the HFD offices, 110 NE 3rd Street, 3rd Floor, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. Responses received after this date and time will be returned unopened. The reception staff will time/date stamp the submittals as they arrive.
