national library week
During National Library Week, residents are encouraged to visit their local library to explore all they have to offer. “Ready, Set, Library!,” the theme for this year, promotes the idea that in the fast-paced world we live in, libraries provide a space to connect with others, learn new skills and focus on what truly matters.

Broward County Library’s 37 branches offer a wide array of resources including entertainment and technology devices, virtual and in-person classes/trainings for business, education and personal/professional development. The Library also offers events and programs for all ages, online resources and much more…all for free with your library card. Get ready to explore, become inspired and connect with your library.

As we celebrate our 50th anniversary and National Library Week, each day we will highlight services and programs provided over the years.
