Welcome to District 5

“My focus is to bring high paying jobs to my Constituents. I've been working hard to do that through my work to reinvigorate the trades labor force and bringing film back to Broward. I'd love to invite you to see one of my links below where I share information on film, trades, water advisory board, South Florida Regional Planning Council and more!" – County Commissioner Steve Geller

Broward County District 5 Commissioner Steve Geller brings over three decades of political expertise to the Broward County Commission.

His record of leadership and public service began 35 years ago in 1988 when he served the people of Broward County as a Florida State Representative. In 1998 he was elected to the Florida Senate, where he would spend the next ten years. In November of 2016 he was first elected to serve the people of District 5 in Broward County and was reelected in 2020 by the Constituents of District 5 which currently includes the entirety of Davie, Cooper City, Broadview Park, and portions of Plantation, Southwest Ranches, and Sunrise.
