Here in Broward County, Innovation is in our DNA, embedded in our programs, processes, and services to the residents, visitors, and businesses of South Florida. The Broward County Innovation Unit was established to develop and implement cutting edge data analysis and visualization solutions. This information can then be used to create dynamic reports and dashboards with real-time, interactive representations of specific datasets in a rapidly changing environment. The Innovation Unit also partners with agencies and organizations to promote innovation and leverage technology advances for all who live, learn, work, and play in Broward County.

Innovation in Broward County Featured at May 6th Commission Meeting
The Resilient Environment Department recently teamed up with the Broward Innovation Unit and several County agencies to highlight just a few of many County-wide innovative solutions to the Broward County Board of Commissioners. The presentation showcased original video content, ranging from drone footage to immersive 3D animation, bringing bold ideas to life—and showing what's possible when innovation meets impact.
