Proposed FY20 Water and Sewer Rates

On September 24th, 2019, the Broward County Commission voted to adopt the FY20 proposed rates, effective October 1, 2019.  A full list of the FY20  water and sewer rates can be viewed here.

Free Chlorination

Free Chlorination begins September 19, 2019 to October 10, 2019 in District 2 Water Service Area.
Free Chlorination is a common practice for water systems using combined chlorine disinfection in an effort to ensure the integritiy of the
distribution system. This chlorination period is anticipated to be transparent; however, there may be a slight change in the taste or odor of the tap water.

New Payment Option - Amscot.

Bring your services bill or bill stub with you to any Amscot location. Amscot will charge a non-refundable $2.00 fee for each transaction. This fee is remitted entirely to Amscot - Not Broward County. Cash payments only. The payments post the next business day. 

Fiscal Year 2020 Retail Rates

The Board of County Commissioners adopted new rates for Fiscal Year 2020. These rates are effective on October 1, 2019.

Conserve additional resources by choosing to receive electronic bills instead of paper. Send an email to WWS Customer Service at and state that you want an electronic bill. Be sure to provide your customer number and email address where you would like your bill to be sent.
