BARC Returns to Full Capacity while Maintaining a Safe Environment

When COVID-19 became a pandemic, BARC adjusted the process and reduced the hours for admissions, as well as limited the number of clients we could admit to the Detoxification and Residential units. Since COVID-19 is no longer considered a global health emergency, BARC is returning to full capacity while maintaining a safe environment for our staff and clients.

Admissions will continue at a reduced schedule and require appointments while we work through this transition. BARC will also monitor local data and adjust procedures accordingly. Masks are encouraged, but not required unless necessary. Likewise, we will require social distancing when possible. Further, the Division employs trained janitorial staff and provides hand sanitizer to support a clean, germ-free environment.

These restrictions and ongoing analysis are necessary for BARC to be able to continue to provide services in a safe and high-quality manner. Currently, all other services at BARC remain fully operational.

To schedule an appointment to be evaluated for Detoxification, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), Residential Treatment or Outpatient services, please contact the Admissions Department at 954-357-4851.
