Working with you and our 31 municipalities we updated Broward County’s Land Use and Comprehensive Plans to make sure they reflect our current and anticipated growth and priorities. These priorities address a wide range of issues including transportation, affordable housing, climate change and economic development.
Over 250 comments were received on the first draft of the Comprehensive Plan. The plan was adopted at a public hearing before the Broward County Board of County Commissioners on March 28, 2019. The new plan became effective May 12, 2019. Thank you for your continued participation!
